DigiWorldz Data Collection Policy
The following is a list of the data we request from you when you sign up for any DigiWorldz service, our uses of the data, how long we keep it, and who we share it with.
It is important to know and understand we will NEVER share any of this information with any 3rd party unless we are required to do so by law.
Our system supports both non paying users and paying users. If you are a non paying user, we collect much less information from you. We will keep some information for 7 years.
Below is a list of the information we request, when we request it, why we request it, how we will use it, who will have access to it, and how long we will keep it. Some may not apply to you.
It is important to note:
– The information we collect automatically is required as our system will not function without it.
– All Passwords are Encrypted and Cannot be seen by anyone, including DigiWorldz Administrators.
– Our virtual world will allow you to enter any information you like into your character’s profile and other areas once you login, but BE AWARE!!! all users can see this information and you are not permitted to submit/save any personally identifiable information into these areas as we cannot protect it. So, as a general rule, do not ever submit your personal information to any in world forms or provide personal information to any in world object or other user. We are not responsible if you do this and doing so is not allowed according to our terms of service.
– If your in world character has not been used for more than 7 years we will automatically delete it and all information associated with it without notification.
– If you would like to request a copy of your collected data in a comma separated text file, please submit a support ticket request which includes your avatar and/or billing name asking to do so:

– If you would like to request to “Be Forgotten”, which is essentially deleting your avatar, please submit a support ticket request with your avatar name asking to do so at:

1a. If you do not “Pay” for any services from DigiWorldz, but are a local user, this is a list of the data we request:
Avatar First Name
– You should never use your real life First name for this as all other users will see it.
– Needed to enable our system to create and know your in world character’s first name.
– This information will be seen by administrators and other users, both in our virtual world, and in other virtual worlds if you choose to visit them via HyperGrid.
– We will keep this information until you decide to delete it(request to be forgotten).
-We will delete this information after 7 years of inactivity.
Avatar Last Name
– You should never use your real life Last name for this as all other users will see it.
– Needed to enable our system to create and know your in world character’s last name.
– This information will be seen by administrators and other users, both in our virtual world, and in other virtual worlds if you choose to visit them via HyperGrid.
– We will keep this information until you decide to delete it(request to be forgotten).
– We will delete this information after 7 years of inactivity.
Avatar Password
– needed to authenticate your user on our system
– Encrypted and Cannot be seen by anyone.
– This information is requested when a user creates an avatar to access our system
– This information is required
– We will keep this information until you decide to delete it(request to be forgotten).
– We will delete this information after 7 years of inactivity.
Your email address
– Needed to allow you to update your password and/or email address and to allow you to receive offline messages if you choose.
– This information will be seen only by DigiWorldz administrators.
– We will keep this information until you decide to delete it(request to be forgotten).
– We will delete this information after 7 years of inactivity.
1b. If you do not “Pay” for any services from DigiWorldz, but are a local user, this is a list of the data we automatically collect when you connect to our servers:
Your ip address
– Our system uses this information to allow your viewer/client to connect to our servers and to send/receive data to/from your machine.
– We also use this information to ban you if needed.
– Only DigiWorldz administrators will see this information.
– We will keep this information for 7 years.
– This information is required
Your MAC address
– needed to enable our system to ban a specific user if needed
– This information is collected automatically whenever a user connects to our servers.
– We will keep this information for 7 years.
– This information is required
1c. If you do “Pay” for any services from DigiWorldz, but are a local user, this is a list of the data we request:

– Needed since we are essentially entering into a contract with you where we agree to provide specific services and you agree to pay real money for the same.
– Only DigiWorldz administrators will see this information.
– Used to enable us to bill and collect monies from you for services we provided and to allow us to contact you if needed.
– This information will be kept for 7 years to satisfy tax laws.
– This information is required if purchasing services.
– All credit card information and paypal information is not collected/stored by DigiWorldz. This information is collected and stored by either stripe.com or paypal.com.
1d. If you do not “Pay” for any services from DigiWorldz, and you have signed up on our affiliate program, this is a list of the data we request:
– Real Life First and Last Names, Real Life Company name if applicable, billing email address, billing mailing address, password, ip address, and phone number.
– Needed since we are essentially entering into a contract with you where we agree to pay you money for your paying referrals.
– Only DigiWorldz administrators will see this information.
– Used to enable us to pay you for referrals you have made and to allow us to contact you if needed.
– This information will be kept for 7 years to satisfy tax laws.
– This information is required to sign up on our affiliate program.
– We will delete this information after 7 years of inactivity.
– All credit card information and paypal information is not collected/stored by DigiWorldz. This information is collected and stored by either stripe.com or paypal.com.
1e. If you do not “Pay” for any services from DigiWorldz, and you are a “Non” local user (HyperGrid), this is a list of the data we automatically collect when you connect to our servers:
